Hey girls so I finally got round to sorting out my photos to bring you a visual Dubai travel diary post. It’s taken me forever to get this post up and I think I’ve uploaded around 70 photos. If you girls follow me on instagram you would have seen that Abz and I had an amazing time in Dubai. We absolutely love it out there it’s such a glamorous city with so much to do, just take a look at the photos below to believe it. We did so much in Dubai but I have selected my best picks for you, along with relevant tips for anyone that’s traveling to Dubai and wants to check out these amazing hot spots…enjoy.
Fortnum & Mason – Afternoon Tea
This is the only Fortnum & Mason outside of Dubai and is definitely worth checking out. Top tip: Get a table on the balcony to get premium views of the Burj Khalifa, which is the tallest building in the world.
Perfect view of the Burj Khalifa
Doll House Dubai – Manicure & Pedicure
Definitely a must for all Huda Beauty fans. I secretly hoped that I would casually bump into Huda Beauty or Mona Kattan…
Palazzo Versace Hotel – Dinner at Enigma
So on Christmas eve we headed out for dinner at Versace Hotel. Top tip: Go for the short beef ribs on the menu they are delicious and served by the chef.
Burj Al Arab – Dinner at Al Mahara
Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant located in the worlds only 7 star hotel. Top tip: make your reservation in advance and request a table by the aquarium.
Burj Al Arab lobby
Al Mahara bar area
24K gold apple juice
Entrance to Al Mahara with Aquarian as the back drop.
Shakespeare and Co – Brunch
I love this vintage inspired cafe, it’s the perfect pit stop for brunch.
Dubai Mall – Shopping
In between all the restaurants and afternoon teas, I managed to squeeze some time in for shopping. I bought a Roberto Cavalli silk scarf and gold plated Marc Jacob earrings.
Pai Thai – Lunch
Highly recommend Pai Thai located in the Madinat Jumeriah Hotel. We took a short boat ride to the restaurant and enjoyed the beautiful weather and views on the way.
Tresind – Dinner
This is a must for any foodies, it’s a unique dinning experience that fully engages the senses. Our night was filled with live cooking and amazing food.
Emirates Palace – Afternoon tea
Emirates Palace is located in Abu Dhabi which is around an hours drive from Dubai. Top tip: Take a walk outside the palace and see the Etihad towers from the film Furious 7.
24k gold flakes sprinkled on top of the cappuccino.
White – Club
White is one of the hottest clubs in Dubai. Top tip: Make sure you dress to impress as they reject people if you’re not dressed up to scratch.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque – Place of Worship
This mosque is the 3rd largest mosque in the world, it’s truly breath taking. Top tip: anyone that visits has to wear a hijab, the mosque offers hijabs that you can wear over your clothes before entering the mosque.
Burj Khalifa – New Years Celebration
This is the worlds tallest building and if you ever get the chance it’s worth seeing the New Years fire work display. We booked a table at Souk Al Bahar and from here got premium views of the Burj Khalifa.
Hope you all enjoyed my Dubai travel diary…
