Bonjour beauties so last weekend Abz and I had a weekend in Paris. We have always wanted to do a spontaneous weekend away and this was the perfect opportunity to do so. And if you girls follow me on instagram you would have seen all the places, we went to in just 2 days. So for those of you who are planning a weekend getaway to Paris here is my exclusive heel diaries guide on; where to stay, what to do and where to dine. Enjoy…
Where to stay
Maison Albar Hotel Paris Opéra Diamond
When I think of Paris I think of chic boutique hotels with picturesque views of Paris. And that is exactly what our hotel was about. We stayed at the Maison Albar Hotel Paris Opéra Diamond which is a stylish fashionable chic hotel in the centre of Paris. And to make our weekend a little more special we decided to book the diamond suite for the weekend. This hotel is in a perfect location with all the major sites to see within 10 -15 minutes by taxi or metro. It’s a great choice for anyone looking to make their weekend in Paris that extra bit special.

What to do
Eiffel Tower
Our first stop was lunch at the Eiffel Tower which was booked for 1:30pm. We booked lunch online at this link. The Eiffel Tower was a 15-minute metro journey from our hotel and we got off at Trocadero metro station which is a great hot stop for taking perfect photos of the Eiffel Tower.
Printemps champs elysées
After lunch we headed to Printemps which is a high end department store located in champs elysees (equivalent to oxford Street in London.) It’s great for a spot of shopping. But what really makes this shopping trip stand out and worth a visit is the open air cafe located on the top floor of Printemps. From here you get views of Paris including the Eiffel Tower, it’s a great spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the picturesque views.
Louvre Museum
Even if you’re not into museums, the Louvre is a must for anyone visiting Paris. It’s the world’s largest museum and has the original Mona Lisa painting displayed. The entrance to the Louvre is a hot spot for taking some fabulous photos. We booked our tickets online to avoid the queues and it was a 10-minute taxi drive from our hotel.
Where to dine
Breakfast at Ladurée
You can’t go Paris without having a dining experience at a chic Parisian café, and Laduree in champs elysees which is their flagship bakery is the perfect place to do this. I highly recommend reserving a table to avoid waiting in the queue as it gets quite busy. Abz and I had Egg Benedict for breakfast with a selection of mini pastries.
Lunch at Ritz Paris
We were really spoiled for lunch choices in Paris, there’s just so many options. One that we had to experience was the Ritz Paris and the reason why was because Coco Channel had her very own suite here and it was her favourite place stay & dine in Paris. Being a fashion lover I just had to dine here and experience it for myself.
Entrance to the toilets
Dinner at Kong
For anyone looking for a trendy, bold and futuristic dining experience Kong is the place to book. Kong is located on the 5th floor of Louis Vuitton head quarters in a glass dome. Everything from the décor, food and music was just on point. The cuisine is Japanese and Abz loved it because he got to indulge in some premium Wagyu beef.
So that was my weekend in Paris guide, I hope you enjoyed it. If you girls have any questions about the places above, drop me message or comment below. I’m always on instagram so you can contact me on there if you like.
