A look around Gloria Serenity Resort in Turkey

Hi guys,

Finally I’ve managed to get this post up. This year has been super busy for me, my blog has really lifted off and things are getting super busy. So it’s taking me a little longer then usual to get my blog posts up so thank you for staying with me 🙂

So last month, Abz and I decided that we needed a short break, a relaxing getaway with plenty of sun, sea, sand, food and quality time. So we decided to book a little getaway to Antalya in Turkey.

We booked our holiday through Destinology, and I would highly recommend them. Abz and I book all our holidays through them as they provide the best luxury hotels and never let us down.

I literally got so many messages on instagram from you all, asking where we were staying and how nice the resort looked. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a blog post with all the details.

Where we stayed – Gloria Serenity Resort

So the Resort is called Gloria Serenity which is a 5* resort and is located in Belek, Antalya, Turkey. The location is known as the Turquoise coast for its gorgeous blue waters. The nearest airport is Antalya Airport, which is only 30 minutes away from the Gloria Serenity Resort. We booked a private transfer through Destinology to take us to the resort. I would recommend booking a transfer in advance, especially if you’re traveling with kids or have a late night arrival.

Resort Surroundings

Gloria Serenity Resort is surrounded by beautiful and picturesque views. The resort is family-friendly and is ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful vacation. It was so relaxing just to switch off and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Walking through the resort was breathtaking I mean check out this beautiful view.

Outfit: Top, Ivy Park, Trousers, TopShop, Sandals, Hermes, sunglasses, Versace.

The night views are just as incredible, this is the outdoor lounge area. The resort serves Shisha in this area from 4pm onwards. After dinner Abz and I relaxed here with shisha and drinks.

Beach & Private Pavilions

The beach is beautiful, there’s so many different seating areas on the beach. The private beach pavilions come at an additional charge of around 100 euros. It’s pretty expensive but you get a private butler service with food and drinks served all day long. We booked the private pavilion and really enjoyed the experience. If the private huts aren’t your thing there’s plenty of beautiful seating areas on the beach and on the pier.

The butler service was amazing.

The sunset view is stunning, we watched this from the private pavilion.

More seating on the walkway leading to the beach pier & bar.

Comfortable beds and delicious fruits served at the Gloria Serenity beach pier & bar.

Dining

We decided to go all inclusive at this hotel, which means that all our meals & drinks were included. The breakfast at Gloria Serenity was a dream. To be honest the food in Turkey is a dream it’s so good. I literally ate so much. The resort has 8 restaurants and 6 bars.

Freshly made crepes with chocolate & starwberry drizzle.

The ice coffee was incredible and was made to perfection. The resort only served fresh juices that tasted amazing.

Freshly made waffles with honey.

Every day we had a selection of mouth watering cakes from the Gloria Serenity patisserie located in the lobby.

Lunch options were amazing, the lamb chops tasted incredible.

Freshly made mock-tails served throughout the day.

The steak restaurant was by far our favorite.

Serenity SPA

The resort has a beautiful SPA with a traditional hammam, 15 therapy rooms and beautiful relaxation zones. Abz and I both had a full body massage, which was priced at £80 per person. To be honest it’s pretty expensive, but after having the massage it was worth every penny. The massage treatments in Turkey are amazing and I felt super relaxed and zoned out. We both booked ourselves in for another one on the day we left hehe.

Land of Legends

If you fancy a day out, you can take a short taxi drive to Land of Legends. There’s so much to do here. It’s basically a multi-complex zone offering; shopping, restaurants, theme parks, evening shows etc. The shopping area has a scenic Venice feel to it. It’s a nice day out and definitely worth a visit.

Room – Serenity Suite

The room that we booked for our holiday was the Serenity Suite which is incredible. The suite is huge, it’s actually big enough to sleep 6. It came with two bedrooms, one of which is an open plan master bedroom. We had a huge hot tube on our balcony which was amazing. The hotel concierge got the hot tub ready for us every day at 6pm.

It was incredible to come back to our room after a day out shopping or at the beach and hop straight into the hot tub on our private balcony.

Our short break at the Gloria Serenity Resort was amazing. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to go to Turkey. It’s a breathtaking location and I seriously couldn’t fault the service or food. I also liked the fact that the airport was so close, making the resort easily accessible.
