Huda Beauty is slaying the world of beauty with everything from her lashes, rose gold pallet to lip contours AND now the Huda Beauty liquid matte minis. As well as the hottest beauty guru around, she’s an inspiration business woman which I really admire. And as always I had to invest in Huda Beauty’s latest release – liquid matte minis brown edition.
Being Asian I just love brown lip colours, as they really compliment my complexion. And the brown edition has all the hottest colours from Huda Beauty’s liquid matte collection in one box. So let’s take a look at each colour in a bit more detail.
Trendsetter
So first up is trendsetter, I love my nudey brown lip colours so I was really looking forward to testing this out. First impressions when I applied the colour was that it’s really hydrating and smells gorgeous. The colour is really neutral with a brown undertone. At first the colour is quite creamy, and then after a few seconds it dries matte. I did have to apply quite a lot to get the colour to stand out on my lips. But once applied it looks super stunning. Definitely something I would wear every day, as it’s the perfect nude colour for my skin.
Vixen
Vixen is almost like a gothic dark brown colour. It’s the kind of colour that I would wear in the evening on a night out. First impressions were that the colour looked a little harsh against my skin tone, but I’m kind of use to wearing nudes so I think this colour will take a little getting used to.
Flirt
I’m in love with flirt, it’s such a gorgeous light brown almost nude colour. First impressions I thought that it was very similar to trendsetter, but it’s not. Flirt has a more nude undertone and really works for an effortless look. Again this is the kind of colour I would wear every day.
Spice Girl
Spice girl is a very soft brown with almost a plum undertone. It’s quite different to the other colours in Huda Beauty Liquid Mattes. Again application was really smooth and dried into a matte finish within seconds. This is the kind of colour that I would wear every day because it’s subtle with a pop of colour.
Overall I’m loving Huda beauty Liquid Mattes, all the colours are easy to apply and are very hydrating. I think the brown edition has all the perfect mix of colours from day wear to evening wear. My faves have to be Trendsetter and Flirt followed by Spice Girl and Vixen. For £33 it’s definitely worth getting and I love the fact that they easily fit in to my handbags.
