Date Night Outfit

So Saturday night was date night, oh because you know Abz and I have only been together for 16 years. Yep that’s right 16 years, we got married 3 years ago but have been official since we were 16 years old #teenagesweethearts. So this special  date night called for a special outfit. And I thought I would give you guys a look into my date night outfit for some satin inspiration.

Outfit

I’m totally into  all the luxurious fabrics this season, and satin is definitely an on trend fabric. It’s the kinda fabric that instantly makes your outfit look more upscale. So for date nights it’s the perfect fabric to wear and pairs well with almost anything. I decided to wear these high waisted satin tapered trousers from River Island, complimented  with a cami from Topshop. I completed my look by throwing on a beautiful black satin duster from River Island and some rose gold sandals from ASOS.

Makeup

I went for a simple and classy look with my makeup, I love having a flawless base and then enhancing my cheek bones with contour and highlight.

Dining

For dinner we went to Rofuto it’s Japanese cuisine, and is located on the 16th floor of the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham. It’s the highest restaurant in Birmingham and is absolutely stunning. I will be doing a separate post on our dinning experience at Rofuto in the next few weeks. But for now here’s  a sneaky pic.

I love date nights and to be honest, it’s not always a fancy affair like this. Sometimes we both just like chilling out at  home and cooking together and investing in ‘together time.’ But we always make time to celebrate special occasions like this, especially when we’ve been together for 16 years. And  it’s  fun making an effort for each other and even more fun dressing up.
